Home

Home never felt much of a space I could freely create in, so I didn't. I never started creating until I moved away to college. Upon leaving a place where you spent the entirety of your life you start to realize how big the world is...that opened me up a lot in so many ways. I'm grateful for all the small journeys I've embarked on, and I look forward to the ones ahead. During my infrequent trips home, I set aside time to make some images of Columbia County in hopes of combating the bitter-sweet feeling that lurks over my shoulder.

Maybe at some point in life, I'll make a photo project about home, maybe this is the start...maybe It'll never happen...who knows.
